Description: Second dive for the mapping excercise however, because of the surge, we had to give up trying to get more mapping data and just returned towards the shore. It's always a bad sign when the surfers are paddling out with you.

Description: First dive for mapping excercise as part of the PADI Dive Master course. Got a lot of data to build contour map. Surge started to pick up towards the end of the dive.
I also tried to play around with my weights. I went in with 14lbs (2x4lbs and 2x3lbs on my tank) but was a little light. I borrowed 4lbs from Nick and was sufficiently heavy to decend. I'll probably add another 6lbs to my BCD pockets next time.
